Central Vacuum Systems
The central vacuum system is made up of individual components, each playing a key role in facilitating your cleaning experience. Don’t care for the hassle of carrying around a bulky appliance? How It Works
The Central Vacuum Unit
The vacuum unit is located in a remote location such as the mechanical room, garage or basement. The vacuum motor pulls air through the pipes and hose, and all the dust, & debris are captured and retained in the filter, or ventilated outside using true cyclonic technology. The vacuum is powered on when a vacuum hose is inserted into an inlet within the home.

The Vacuum Hose
No more carrying around a bulky vacuum! Central vacuum hoses are lightweight, flexible, and durable, and come in a variety of lengths. Hoses are the only part of the system that is carried along throughout the home and can be used to clean any surface of the home using different wands and power heads.
Standard Vacuum Hoses are long hoses with two ends. One end is attached to the wand and one end gets plugged into the vacuum inlet in the wall. Certain hoses are are designed to begin suction immediately when plugged in while others have an an on/off switch for the suction on the handle end of the hose.
Retractable Hoses are contained in the pipes of the system, or within the system itself until they are pulled out for use. When done vacuuming, the hose is retracted back into the pipes by the suction of the vacuum.
